Yoga is one of the most popular physical and mental exercises in modern life. Once humans used long-distance running on the streets as their main exercise method, now you are more likely to find them posing in various poses in yoga classes.
Yoga is a physical activity that is as beneficial both mentally and physically. Yoga is an ideal choice for promoting mental health and an excellent tool for finding balance in life while maintaining strength and flexibility.
It involves various postures and stretching exercises, helps to untie the knots of the body, and performs a variety of breathing exercises to make you feel calm and relaxed. We can get more relaxation and recovery through some yoga exercises, helping us keep our feet on the ground and focus during these challenging times.
Usually in restorative yoga classes, the teacher will provide props to help support the body while performing calm, grounded postures. Restorative yoga is mainly performed on the floor and uses building blocks, blankets and mats to help reduce unnecessary stress and relax the body and mind. Through relaxation and meditation, restorative yoga can help calm the nervous system and reduce tension in the body.
Kundalini is a rejuvenating form of yoga that combines mental and physical (asana) exercises. It uses dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, chanting mantras and exercises to help raise awareness. Kundalini’s goal is to help develop a person’s creative spiritual potential by releasing the power of the snake coiled at the base of the spine (Kundalini). Kundalini's asana practice attempts to pull this coiled energy upward through the seven chakras.
Yin Yoga is a form of yoga developed in the United States in the late 1970s. In Yin Yoga classes, participants will maintain yoga poses for a long time, usually five minutes or more. The asanas involved in Yin Yoga are designed to moderately stretch the connective tissues of the body, stimulate blood circulation and improve flexibility. This form of yoga is aimed at meditation and quietness. This is an opportunity to keep peace with your body and explore your emotional health. Yin yoga involves intentional stretching, distinguishing it from restorative yoga practice (see below), and is an ideal complement to more active forms of yoga.
Choose the right yoga clothes to enhance your practice
What you choose to wear during asanas is entirely a personal choice. Most importantly, no matter which yoga style you practice, you can find clothes that suit your specific needs. If your focus is spiritual awareness, choosing comfortable yoga leggings that won't hinder your movement or breathing may help-you can almost forget the clothes you are wearing.
One suggestion drawn from our personal experience is that many practitioners have found a spiritual connection with them through female energy. Choosing feminine yoga clothes can help strengthen this connection. In the Vera jar, for example, it has a two-tone neckline and contrast stitching to create a feminine appearance and silhouette. Use it with Vikeep to create an ideal spiritual practice ensemble.
